Mental HealthTherapy for Young Adults and Teens

Tina Coatta, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Minnesota and Arizona

Feeling stuck? Or feeling like you have to go it alone because no one will understand or listen? What if you could connect with someone who would support and help?

I offer compassion and authenticity to help you navigate life transitions, manage anxiety and depression, and heal from trauma using mind and body.

I integrate expressive arts like music, movement, visual arts, and writing as a way to access and process trauma and move toward personal growth.

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is an evidence-based method for healing from the past and moving toward growth and healing.

Hi! I’m Tina

I’m here to help you feel seen and understood, manage anxiety and depression, and heal from past trauma.

I'm passionate about helping people transform and live more fulfilling lives. I’ve seen healing and growth happen during my extensive experience as a therapist working in schools, day treatment programs, crisis settings, and community mental health.

I’ve seen the power of building connections and relationships to promote healing and growth.

I can help with:

Individual Therapy

Weekly or bi-weekly therapy can help you feel less overwhelmed, increase your ability to manage life transitions, become less isolated, gain confidence, and develop a better understanding of yourself.

EMDR

EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is an evidence-based psychotherapy approach to help you heal and experience freedom from past trauma, engage in healthy relationships, and manage stress. EMDR can help you heal from traumatic events like abuse, bullying, grief/loss, or attachment issues. EMDR can be useful in an integrated treatment of issues like anxiety and depression.

Relationships

I help support with challenging family and interpersonal relationships, conflict, and stress. I can help you feel supported through struggles and life transitions. My approach is collaborative to support you in building stronger connections and identifying ways to care for yourself and navigate difficult relationships.
